Introducing Sustainable For All Mankind, our mission and steps towards a more ethical, eco-friendly future for fashion and denim. We recently announced our pledge to make 80% of all products sustainable by 2023. Just a few months in and we’ve made significant progress. So, where do we start?

From our materials and processes, to our people and partners, we are committed to sustainability, now and forever. To put it simply, we’ve focused on drastically reducing water waste and C02 emissions by developing low-impact production processes, choosing more sustainable materials, swapping labels for lasers and introducing eco-hardware. It’s fair to say, we’re fully committed to our goal. Because now is the time to make a change.

Slim Illusion Eco

7 For All Mankind Slim Illusion, our best-loved flexible fit jeans, are now sustainable, meaning you can feel good, look good and most importantly, do good. Sculpting, smoothing denim favourites, Slim Illusion Eco, are crafted from organic cotton, recycled polyester and TENCEL fibres, using sustainable trims and hardware wherever possible.

Luxe Performance Eco

Loved for their flexible, comfort fit, the Luxe Performance Eco jeans are now made from post-consumer recycled cotton and REPREVE recycled polyester, a certified and fully traceable recycled performance fibre. Every pair of 7 For All Mankind Luxe Performance Eco jeans are indigo dyed using a low-impact process which drastically reduces water waste. Finally, they are finished with eco-friendly galvanised hardware that generates no raw material waste and is manufactured without the use of chemicals.

Recycled Cotton And Eco Denim

By using recycled cotton (certified by the Better Cotton Initiative), virgin cotton is less in demand by the cotton mills and thus billions of litres of water is saved. 7 For All Mankind has now joined the Sustainable Apparel Coalition – their Higg Index tool allows us to measure and score the sustainability performance of our products and partners, helping us to continually improve the work we do. These additions to the 7 For All Mankind repertoire mark a monumental shift in attitudes towards sustainable fashion, proving that consumers can enjoy their sartorial favourites with a clear conscience.
